mitsubishi lancer evolution yang sering disebut dengan nama "evo". evo adalah mobil tipe sedan yang memiliki performa tinggi yang diproduksi oleh perusahaan mitsubishi. uniknya mobil lancer ini memiliki 10 tipe yakni evo I sampai evo X,Semua menggunakan dua liter, turbocharged engine dan All Wheel Drive sistem.

sejarahnya, pada awalnya lancer evolution ini dipasarkan hanya untuk negara jepang saja, namun karena ada permintaan atas impor maka pada akhirnya kemudian di pasarkan melalui jaringan dealer Ralliart di Britania Raya dan di berbagai pasar Eropa dari sekitar 1998. karena memiliki nilai jual yang amat tinggi maka Mitsubishi memutuskan untuk mengekspor Evolusi generasi kedelapan ke Amerika Serikat pada 2003 setelah menyaksikan keberhasilan Subaru yang ada di pasar yang dengan mereka Impreza WRX.
